So far so good

I felt compelled to write a review since there don't appear to be any thus far. I was advised to buy the book going by the same title but written instead by the authors Ben Streetman and Sanjay Banerjee. I chose to buy this book used instead because it cost me some $100 less than the Streetman/Banerjee book would have cost me (though that no longer seems to be the case). I can't say how it compares do Streetman/Banerjee since the whole reason I bought this book was because I couldn't afford the other one (or, to say it more accurately, I didn't think the other book was worth ~$140) but I will say that I'm reading the first chapter right now and it seems to be written fairly well. I think I encountered one mistake but it wasn't that big a deal. I feel the book was a tad bit lazy in explaining how a cathode Ray Tube works but it explains it well enough for someone like me to understand the gist of it. In addition the book describes the math quite well and how everything is derived. As of now I would recommend this book to someone who needs to learn about this kind of material. I think the book is aimed at undergrads. I might edit my review later when I get further in the book and/or if my opinion changes.
