If you like the cover picture you will love this book. Filled with imaginative interlocking designs. Printed one per page.

If you like the cover picture, you will love this book, it is filled with imaginative, flowing, free form, interlocking and overlapping designs similar to the cover picture, most are bordered plus fill most of the page, some are circular, in mandala form centered on the page and 3 have combined the two types. I am adding pictures of the three types for you.
1. 31 Illustrations printed one per page (The back of each page is blank) on heavy weight, bright white, paper. Perforated for easy page removal.
2. All of the markers I tested leaked through the page at least a little in my test, so place 2 pieces of paper under the page you are coloring to prevent damage to the next picture, or remove the page from the book. Markers tested (Bic Mark it ultra fine, Sharpie ultra fine, Staedtler Triplus fineliners and Fibre tip, Stabilo point 88, Pentel fine point, Crayola Skinny.)
3. Illustrations included: 17 illustrations similar to the cover picture, 11 circular mandala types, centered on the page, with the same free form entangled patterns as the cover. 3 combining the two types, a full page with a circular mandala as the focal point on the page.
4. Details vary with in each illustration from tiny to large, so this book is perfect for colored pencils. Markers will work well but most of the pictures have at least some tiny details that an ultra fine marker works on better than a fine, however a combination of Ultra fine and Fine would be the perfect coloring medium. Some areas in each illustrations are a bit small for Fine tip markers and some a bit large to color with ultra fine.
Tips:
1. If you have a problem coloring at night because of your lighting try ordering a Day Light bulb, these bulbs are a type of bulb that is brighter and mimics day light, and allow you to see the true colors of your coloring medium.
2. Leave white areas and color in black areas in your picture to add a dramatic touch and high light certain colors.
3. Creative Haven coloring books in combination with Bic Mark-it ultrafine markers (and some other leak through markers) create Reverse Art on the back of the pages you are coloring.

Drawings appear more hand-drawn than computer generated, which I love!

I have at least 10 coloring books, and I find myself going back to this again and again. I also do 'Zentangles' so I have 'borrowed' a lot of the patterns in there for tangles. One thing I really like about this book is that the drawings actually appear hand drawn (vs. computer generated). In other words the little circles, and shapes aren't all perfect, which gives it a little more character. I also like that the drawings vary from full page quite complicated designs to smaller and simpler designs. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for something too tedious. I've only had this a week, and it is getting colored-up! So I may have to order another one. For the price, you can't beat it!

Very cool and detailed, can't go wrong with this one

Great book, we have five coloring books and a ton of markers, sharpie, pencils. I first scan the pages when print them on thick watercolor paper or on drawing paper that has a smoother surface. This way we can always have the original page to color again and don't have to worry about bleeding through the back side. You get the best scans by cutting out the page from the book so it will lay flay on the scanner bed. You can also scan directly from the book but its a little more difficult to hold the book down flat and to get the art work lined up straight We have a Canon MP 280 printer with a built in scanner that only cost about $40.00.
My wife is recovering from knee surgery and spends most of the time in bed or on the couch and my daughter (15 yrs old) and her love to work on these together. They just love these coloring books. We also bought, Creative coloring animals ( really nice book), Mystical Mandala (great stress relief designs), Fanciful face (not as detailed as the others). The favorite markers are Stabilo 88 markers. They have a nice thin point and are great for detailed work and have vivid colors. Also used cheap colored pencils. Be sure to have a good sharpener like Prismacolor Scholar it also works great. This piece was done by my daughter who couldn't stop working on it and found it to be very relaxing to do. Mostly done with the Stabilo 88 markers.
